Booking & Payments
Q: How do I book a tour?
A: You can book directly online through the [Book Now] buttons, or contact Donna by phone, text, or email to arrange your tour.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Most major credit cards are accepted through our booking system. Cash payments can be arranged if needed.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak seasons (winter and summer), to ensure your preferred date.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off
Q: Do you pick up from hotels?
A: Yes. Donna offers pickup from major hotels in Waikiki, Ko Olina, and other popular resort areas. If your hotel is outside these areas, we can pick up for an additional fee.
Q: Do you pick up from the cruise port?
A: Absolutely. Donna meets cruise passengers right at the Honolulu Harbor terminal for an additional fee. Tours are designed to get you back to your ship on time, guaranteed.
Q: Can airport pickups or drop-offs be arranged?
A: Yes. For an additional fee, we can arrange airport pickups or end a tour at the airport for your convenience. Please provide your flight information at checkout.
Tour Details
Q: How long are the tours?
A: Most tours last between 6–8 hours. Half-day options are available for cruise guests or those with limited time.
Q: Are tours private or shared?
A: All of Donna’s tours are private — it’s just your group and Donna, so the day is fully tailored to your interests.
Q: What’s included in the tour?
A: Comfortable private transportation, a knowledgeable local guide, bottled water, and plenty of stories and hidden gems. Admission fees, meals, and optional extras are not typically included unless specified.
Q: Can the tour be customized?
A: Yes. Donna loves creating custom itineraries. Whether you want to focus on beaches, history, culture, or food, the day is flexible.
Cruise Passenger Questions
Q: Will I get back to my ship on time?
A: Yes. Donna carefully plans each cruise excursion with your ship’s schedule in mind and guarantees timely return.
Q: What if my ship is delayed?
A: If your ship’s arrival changes, Donna will adjust your tour start time accordingly whenever possible.
Families & Groups
Q: Can children join the tours?
A: Absolutely. Donna loves guiding families. Car seats can be arranged with advance notice.
Q: How many people can you accommodate?
A: Most tours comfortably accommodate up to 6 passengers. For larger groups, please contact Donna to arrange additional vehicles.
Accessibility
Q: Are the tours accessible for guests with mobility needs?
A: Some stops are fully accessible, while others may involve uneven ground, stairs, or beach access. Please let us know your needs in advance so we can tailor the route.
What to Bring
Q: What should I bring on my tour?
A: We recommend bringing:
- Sunscreen
- Hat or sunglasses
- Comfortable shoes
- Reusable water bottle (bottled water also provided)
- Swimsuit and towel if you’d like to swim
- Camera or phone for photos
Weather & Timing
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Light rain is common in Hawaii and rarely disrupts tours. Tours run rain or shine, unless extreme weather creates a hazard.
In case of severe weather, Donna will work with you to adjust the itinerary or reschedule.
Q: How is the tour timing planned?
A: Timing is always flexible. Tours are customized around your ship’s arrival/departure or your hotel schedule. [Details TBD on seasonal timing tips, e.g., best times for North Shore waves or whale watching]
Tickets & Entry Fees
Q: Are admission fees included in the tour price?
A: Tour prices include transportation and guiding. Tickets to certain attractions (e.g., Pearl Harbor sites, museums, cultural centers) are not included and are paid separately by guests. Donna can help secure tickets in advance where possible.
Policies
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Customers will receive a full refund with 72 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
